Bar Johnny is a bar/restaurant on Polk Street in San Francisco. The concept the client was looking to execute was the place where punk meets 1960′s Madison Avenue. This contrast proved to be the challenge without coming across as too contrived or excessive. Our exploration consisted of copy machines, found typography & wheat pasting, in contrast with businessman ephemera and flourish wallpaper from the 60′s era and an elegant yet simple color scheme.
