Disfigure is a San Francisco boutique interior design firm that specializes in taking things of old (usually from the Baroque period), breaking them apart, and reassembling them in some unique and beautiful way.  It seemed appropriate to us to create an identity system that is built on these same principles.  The main mark, the dagger goddess, symbolizes this process of destruction/beauty.
