Melissa came to us to help her create an online voice for her amazing breadth of work. Her work is contemplative and yet minimal in its presence. This helped guide us in a design direction where white space was an important spacial element. We wanted the site to give the user the sense of viewing an open book without being too literal. This site ended up becomming a winner of PDN’s 2008 Design Annual and helped set the stage for Melissa’s successful career as a photographer today.
