The Colony Palms Hotel is a unique spot nestled in the dry desert of Palm Springs. It's a quiet, private get-away that offers a unique blend of high-end amenities & and timeless architecture. CPH came to MM for a repositioning of their brand and a complete redesign of their website. We quickly realized they lacked the photographic assets needed to tell their story. The hotel had an abundance of historical photos that we felt would lend themselves to a rich narrative especially when contrasted with the present.
We focused was on what makes CPH unique; their ingredients. We jumped on a plane the next week and spent a weekend shooting photos that captured the ambiance. In tandem, we crafted their new identity and leveraged this new visual experience into a simple, yet intuitive digital experience.
